"Suzanne revisited a site and theme found in a previous work, "Solar Event over Marsh and Fen." However, she changed the tone of this painting to reflect the cerulean blue of the sky overhead. She says, "I also noticed the very desirable Rough Goldenrod growing throughout the marshy area, so I added it to the composition and the title."
